In 2025, we are headed to Ōtautahi Christchurch and the world-class venue of Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre: a venue committed to best practice environmental sustainability. From sustainable business policies to unique environmental initiatives, such as Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre's eWater system, dehydration of food waste into soil food and environmental packaging – they view every aspect of their business through an environmental lens.
PCOA ensures the effective development and implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda, with a focus on environmental protection, investing in people, and strengthening our communities
Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre is committed to best practice environmental sustainability through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, ASM Global Acts. The aim of this policy is to minimise the potential for negative environmental impact and provide a positive social contribution.
Accreditation illustrates we have accurately measured our greenhouse gas emissions, and put in place strategies to manage, reduce and offset our impacts

A karakia is a short Māori prayer or blessing used to open or close an event, helping to set the tone and bring people together. It acknowledges the space, the people, and the purpose of the gathering. This karakia has been selected by Liz Kereru (Ngāi Tūāhuriri) to align to the 2025 PCOA conference theme of connection and community.
